...and it is lower than ever before. I finally have a proper alignment on the Allroad. Its amazing the difference in handling. Before I would skip to the side ever time I hit a bump because the camber was out. Now its very smooth and solid. I couldn’t even imagine what its like to drove something like the WRX pictured here. It was a nice $650 to get the alignment done. The bolts on one side were rusted/fused together and the bolt on the other side was missing its head. the shop had to cut the whole thing apart and replace the lower control arm before doing the alignment. Awesome. I gutta say its work it. It drives so nice now and I wont destroy my new tires with the poor alignment.

Dat WRX though...*hides before the anti stance crowd arrives*

I was just thinking about the WRX I saw this morning. Lowered and slightly excess camber to tuck the tires. Still dig it.

$650 for all that work?

Sounds like a pretty good price. I’m going to need new tires and an alignment on the Mustang once I get the strut mounts fixed, which looks like it’ll be a month or so :(

yea, my office is working with a guy who owns a shop. The shop I brought it to is the shop he uses for all the more pain-in-the-ass stuff he doesn’t want to deal with. I think our client is more focused on used car sales, and basic maintenance stuff.

i would think that would take all the WRX’s abilities away and kill the driving enjoyment

Cool! Nice to have a connection like that. I found a good transmission shop and a body shop in a similar way.

oh they ride and drive like dog shit. Having driven and riden in many.
Also that camber kills the AWD system and axle shafts

Does that WRX have a diffuser while also being stanced? Undriveable.

it looks like that

It does. But hey, their car. Lifting it on rally springs and putting a snorkel and mudflaps on it will kill the mileage and make it bouncy as fuck...still cool.

rally springs, which are only an inch or two, wont make it unstable, just not comfortable. i dont know about the snorkle but how will mudflaps kill mpg? at least non of those items make it unsafe

My 275/40 wide tires made my Mustang “unsafe” in the rain/snow. It’s subjective when you get to stuff like this. Totally maxed out and custom suspension to make the tire run on the sidewall like VIP style, that is unsafe. But its a style. I dig the low-life. I wouldn’t daily one. But I can appreciate the look.

its all for show, if you want to do it to show off, whatever, when you want to drive that thing next to me..... no
275/40 unsafe? sure if they were summers, all seasons probably not that bad.

Nah, 275/40 all seasons. Wider tire, stiffer suspension, and a straight rear axle. More prone to hydroplaning, to the point I wouldn’t let people unfamiliar with my car drive it if it was inclement.
